New build modular units

The NHS Trust urgently needed to transform their current staff welfare area at the hospital into space to help increase patient capacity. This was achieved by providing increased space for staff by the alteration and extension of the existing emergency department with modular units which provide a new staff entrance, staff room and male and female changing rooms. Internal works were undertaken to provide an open plan office and a seminar room. The new modular building is attached to and has access to the main building via a link. 

Modular units were delivered to site 95% complete and craned into place to ensure minimal disruption to the hospital's operations with the works being undertaken within a live environment adjacent to the existing emergency department and within the surrounding areas remaining in occupation during the duration of the works.

• Management of the site, site supervision and health and safety management

• Certification and management of quality 

• Progress reports and ongoing programming

• Management of setting out of the works

• Taking and holding of records
