Causeway View offers luxury student accommodation close to the university and the city centre in a newly converted school that retains its Victorian features. There is an on-site gym, laundry room, common room and study area. Accommodation is in modern en-suite rooms and unique split-level studios. The development includes a roof terrace with panoramic views across Aberdeen.
What we did:
Working alongside the main contractor, Wordsworth CS provided pre-contract negotiations, programming, logistics, procurement, design management and conclusion of Building Warrant Applications.
The scheme involved the conversion of the existing school and nursery buildings into duplex student studios and 351 new student flats and studios.
In addition to the work carried out during the pre-construction phase, we then continued with a Construction Management role throughout the delivery phase.
