Overview:
The project was the refurbishment of the former regional head office of Lloyds Bank to provide nine storeys of Grade A standard office accommodation, with shell space for a new restaurant to the ground floor.
The project was delivered with a BREEAM 'Very Good' rating with a key feature of the work being the creation of additional floor space via cantilevered extensions of 1.5m to the upper floors on three elevations of the existing building.
What we did:
We priced the scheme at detailed estimate stage for our client and once the project was secured via competitive process this led to our retention during the procurement of sub-contract packages, management of design and planning and progress reporting to completion. This was the first multi-million pound scheme our client had secured and was completed profitably to exacting quality and programe.
