Paul joined Wordsworth in November 2023 as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and has over 40 years’ experience within the construction industry, progressing from a City & Guilds trained carpenter and joiner, to his current role as Senior Quantity Surveyor.
He has worked for both main contractors and public sector employers within a range of sectors which include retail, residential, education and hospitality/leisure.
Paul is experienced in the commercial management of a range of different projects varying in size from small refurbishment schemes up to multi-million-pound large scale projects.
Paul’s role includes cost and value reporting, commercial management of projects, the procurement and management of contractors for various trade accounts, liaising and consulting with clients and other stakeholders and valuing interim and final accounts.
Paul prides himself on his attention to detail, his can-do attitude and determination to succeed.
